Hi! I’m guessing you’re here because you need professional photos and not just to look at my face, right? LOL :D

I’m Janie, the artist behind this little business I love so much. I’ve been behind the lens since my junior year in high school, back when cameras used rolls of film and I had to develop my negatives and prints with chemicals in a dark room. A lot has changed since then, with the exception of my love for photography. But these changes motivated me to teach myself everything I possibly could about my camera and editing software, that would help produce creative, natural and unique portraits for all who called upon me to help capture their memories.

I now have over 15 years of professional experience (in photography and editing) and I’ve enjoyed exploring every crevice of my beautiful city, Miami, Florida, while at it. And while I am an on-location, natural light, editorial style photographer who prefers natural, timeless photography, I am never opposed to working with my clients’ individual needs and ideas. Bring me your dreams and I’ll make them a reality.

My background in education has afforded me a great deal of patience when working with children of all ages and developmental stages, so don’t stress the small stuff. I can handle even the trickiest of clients. While I am not perfect, I am a perfectionist at heart with an eye for detail. Rest assured that I will notice things you may never have thought of, all in hopes of making your portraits truly remarkable.

I’ve had the honor of watching hundreds of families transition from engagement, to marriage, to parenthood and beyond over the years, and nothing in this industry brings me greater joy than the bonds I form with my clients. To me this isn’t just work. It is helping my clients create memories they can pass down from generation to generation, telling their unique and intricate story through portraiture.
